Monday comes with all the feels and in a world fil Monday comes with all the feels and in a world filled with a lot of negative energy (hello global pandemic) it can be easy to feel frustrated by your current work situation!

We see work as something people LOVE or something people HATE. But there is a lot of middle ground.

There is room to know your job is nothing your ultimate goal but appreciate it for the moment.

There is room for you to enjoy your colleagues or like the company you work for but know this department is not for you.

And there is room for your job to be good enough, and for you to keep it just as it is!

The key is to know what your job is for you right now, where it’s your life’s passion or something paying the bills until you figure it out.

And then choose what your next step may be!

As we start to get those #SundayScaries, it can be As we start to get those #SundayScaries, it can be helpful to reflect on the week behind us and remember all the progress we made. All the checks we put on our physical and metaphorical to do lists. And remember that life is not about checking items off our list but experiencing each day making contributions to our world and finding time for fun and joy. Happy Sunday!
Do you ACTUALLY detach from work over the weekend? Do you ACTUALLY detach from work over the weekend?

Do you take the break the weekend is meant to provide?

Now more than ever we need to use our time away from work to relax and decompress however possible.

Here are three things you can do this weekend to maximize your relaxation time:

1. Shut off screens. The amount of time you take away from screens is very personal, but make a plan to avoid screens for a portion of the weekend. Listen to music or the radio, read, just look outside or take a quiet walk.

2. Journal. Literally take note on how you’re feeling during such uncertain times. Many people express themselves better on paper where it may feel safer than out loud.

3. Sleep. Instead of setting an alarm to wake up, set an alarm for when to go to bed! Allow your body to wake up when it’s ready alarm free!
Not all of these may work for you! But I hope you find a way to love on yourself and REST this weekend.

Share your plan for rest in the comments!
Let’s talk about planners. I, and many of clien Let’s talk about planners.

I, and many of clients have a tendency to seek out the perfect planner. And along that journey they try to make their needs fit the planners they buy, rather than identifying their needs and finding a planner to match them.

When I am asked my favorite planner, I give the following advice.

Get a blank notebook and write/draw out a simple version of what you think you need, many planners show the inside pages so you can use that as an example!

Use it throughout the week, and make note of what you need that’s missing. Do you need a space for meal prep? Do you need or not need space for appointments?

Then, you can find (or create) a planner that will work perfectly for YOU!

What is your favorite planner? 👇👇

There is no quick fix, no magic bullet that will help you reach your goals.

What does work? Reflecting on past successes and failures and do a root cause analysis.

What actions did you take when you were success?

What held you back from reaching you goals when things didn’t work out?

Ask yourself these three questions if you want to know what is right for you!
