How many times have you said to yourself, “I am going to start going to the gym in the morning”? You set your alarm, you laid our your gym clothing…and then hit snooze until 7am when you actually had to get out of bed?
I know I have!!
Here are 4 tips to being your most authentic self.
1. Know yourself and your past experiences and embrace them.
What do you do (not what do you WANT to do)? Consider professional life and your personal life. What is your family like (not what do you wish it was like)?
2. What are your values? Your values form the foundation on which we work and conduct ourselves throughout our lives. These are concepts and ideas that guide your ultimate decisions, whether you realize it or not.
3. Identify personal goals. If you lived in a bubble where only your desires mattered and time and money were no object, what would your goals be? If you want something, you can achieve it. You just may need some help figuring out how – wink wink – talk to me!
4. Make a list of all the things you enjoy doing – as mundane as grocery shopping or as exciting as running marathons and everything in between – then prioritize them in your life!
